Meet the Nursery Team

Mr Hanmore 

Hi everyone, my name is Mr Hanmore, and I am the Nursery Teacher! It's my job to make sure that everyone who is part of our Nursery family is well looked after (that includes you too parents!), and having exciting lessons and play every day.  

I have worked in the nursery for 2 years, and couldn't think of anywhere else I would rather be. Every day is different, and seeing the progress our young people make from when they first start with us as 3 or 4 years old, and then move into primary education is so rewarding.  

You can find me at the academy every day, so if you have any questions, do come over and say hello!  

 

Mrs Murphy 

Hi, I’m Mrs Murphy and I am one of the Reception teachers and the phase lead for Early Years. I love working in Early Years and seeing the progress the children make, from their first day in Nursery until they are ready to leave Reception to start in Year 1. Supporting them to grow socially and emotionally, as well as academically.  

I have been in Early Years for 5 years and  before that I was a Year 1 teacher.  

I am here to help your child/ren (and you) have a smooth transition into the Early Years and then on to Year 1, and to ensure there are exciting and engaging activities on offer. I am happy to chat with you either at the academy or via the telephone should you have any concerns or queries.
