Nursery

Welcome to Little Robins - our  Nursery at Oasis Academy Pinewood!

We are delighted to welcome you to our Nursery. A place full of joy and love, where young children come to start their journey into formal education. Here at Little Robins, we understand the importance of your child having the best starts in their education, and we work hard as a family of staff to make this happen. Working in partnership with you, your child will be guided through their emotional, social and physical development preparing them for primary school, in a play-led exciting environment. 

Session times and wrap around care 

We have 39 places per session for 3-4 year-olds in our Nursery. Full time places are available with a 30 hour funding code, or payment can be made for the additional sessions.  

Our full time day care offer is a full day of 8.45am – 3.05pm. We do ask that parents are prompt with timings and that all children are collected at 3.05pm. For those wishing to go part time with us, the sessions we host are three hours long, and your child will be eligible, by application, for a morning or afternoon session. These run from 8.45am - 11.45 am and 12.05pm - 3.05pm. Again we do request that parents or carers are able to pick up their children on time.  

If you are running late or have a problem, do get in touch with us as soon as you can by telephone and we will do our best to support you.  

Start Dates 

The children start at the academy in a small group, which enables staff to really support them to make relationships and helps them to learn the new routines and expectations with us. Many of our children start in September but we also admit children throughout the year in January and April. We value every child for their individuality and know that each child will settle into the Academy in their own way, so we work closely together to ensure a smooth transition. 

Staffing 

Our Early Years Phase Leader oversees our Nursery and Reception classes. There is a teacher and two teaching assistants in our Little Robins Nursery. Find out more and meet the team today!
